As we continue to grow and innovate, we are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as the Executive Assistant to the VP of Operations.Role Overview: As the Executive Assistant to the VP of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive administrative support to the VP and their organization. You will work closely with a strategic support group comprising the Chief Operations Officer and their Executive Assistant, the Vice President of Operations, the HR Business Partner, and the Chief of Staff. Together, you will drive efficiency and contribute to the achievement of PGE’s strategic objectives.Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the strategic support group to facilitate business operations and long-term strategic planning.
  • Schedule, plan, and execute events, including leader retreats, to foster team cohesion and alignment with company goals.
  • Maintain confidentiality while partnering effectively with peers across all levels of the organization.
  • Communicate effectively with employees at all levels and travel as needed to support the VP.
  • Support utility operations to meet customer needs on a non-traditional schedule, balancing the priorities of multiple stakeholders.
  • Adapt to emerging situations and thrive in high-pressure, dynamic environments.
  • Demonstrate articulate written and spoken communication skills and effective time management in a complex, evolving landscape.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills.

  • Adaptable and eager to learn, comfortable with ambiguity and can anticipate opportunities for efficiencies.
  • Strong sense of accountability, ownership, and resilience.
  • Dependable, and committed to supporting the organization when it mobilizes to respond to external events such as outages, and responses to storms and wildfires.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience working in high-pressure, dynamic environments preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
