Essential Duties1. Recommends the design and implementation of procedures and protocols under the direction of a higher-level authority. 2. The Research Associate will also supervise interns; contribute to data collection and analyses, progress reports, presentations, and scholarly publications; and help identify and pursue funding opportunities.Specifically, the Research Associate will lead the PhD and MD/PhD tracks of the Yale Program to Advance Training of Health and Sciences (PATHS). The Research Associate will be responsible for identifying, inviting, and scheduling speakers, mentors, and instructors; overseeing the application review and onboarding processes; coordinating with volunteer mentors; and planning curricular content in collaboration with other program staff.The Research Associate will also lead the development of curricula for the Yale Ciencia Academy (YCA), a federally funded project that promotes the professional development and career success of scientists from diverse backgrounds at the PhD-level and into the postdoctoral transition.
