Essential: * Perform SAP Transactions in accordance of functional area per Work Instructions
- Utilize radio frequency (RF) scanning equipment as required to complete material movements within the warehouse and to the assembly line, to perform cycle counts and ship engines
- Prepare, package / repackage and supply material to MTU America Operations in accordance to the MTU America Material Flow Strategy
- Move material between material storage locations within the warehouse and to MTU America Operations
- Read and interpret standard work instructions and operational documents and reports
- Inspect and maintain equipment logs as required
- Perform all aspects of shipping & receiving of material & finished goods including production material, non-production material and completed engines
- Position and align components within warehouse and / or operations as directed
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas and comply with safety regulations to help ensure a safe working environment
- Keep management abreast of progress, developments and pending problems
- Identify and reduce non-value added work
- Perform special projects as may be required and maintain on the job flexibility by providing support in materials and other production related areas
- Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility, and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing and production processes, raw materials, quality control, and costs.
- Basic knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and the ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations or standards
- Basic troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Basic interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with other employees
- Basic oral and written communication skills
- Basic reading, writing and math skills
- Basic PC knowledge and the ability to efficiently operate computer terminals and RF scanning devices
- Ability to obtain appropriate power vehicle license (Flatbed, Hi-Lo, & Mule) when necessary
1. High School Diploma/GED
2. Knowledge of basic SAP software capabilities and functionality
3. Knowledge of MTU America products, policies and procedures
4. Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
