Join our Human Resources team with East West Hospitality! We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to support our organization's success by leading the talent acquisition strategy and initiatives.This role involves developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract, identify, and hire top talent across all levels and departments. The Talent Acquisition Manager oversees the entire recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding, while also building strong employer branding and talent pipelines. In this role, you will support The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa and East West Hospitality properties in the Vail Valley.Duties Include:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to meet staffing needs.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing requirements and create detailed and accurate job descriptions.
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies for each operation that are based on department needs, roles, and industry standards.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry events, to source qualified candidates.
  • Organize, attend, and participate in hiring events such as company sponsored job fairs, college fairs, virtual fairs and more.
  • Build, cultivate, and sustain an active candidate database for all roles.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR Director/Managers during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates and other pertinent details.
  • Manage the international staffing program for Westin and Vail Valley. Including, but not limited to J1, H-2B, H-1B, and TN visas.
  • Create and maintain relationships with external talent sources, i.e. local partners and schools (high school and collegiate).
  • Assist hiring managers with preparing interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment tools to streamline the hiring process and maintain accurate candidate records.
  • Develop and implement employer branding initiatives to enhance the organization's reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Partner with the EWH and East West Family of Companies HR teams in the curation and maintenance of EW Family of Companies' employment brand via our career site, employment ads, materials, etc.
  • Develop, utilize, and analyze HR metrics including, turnover statistics, cost per hire, time to hire, labor market statistics, and more to identify areas for improvement and optimize the recruitment process.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to talent acquisition and employment.
  • Provide guidance and training to hiring managers and interviewers on effective interviewing skills, recruitment techniques and best practices.
  • Lead or participate in special projects related to talent acquisition, such as campus recruiting programs, diversity initiatives, and employer branding campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

  • Bachelor's Degree required; or three years related experience in Human Resources; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or related HR roles, with a track record of successfully sourcing and hiring top talent.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods.
  • One year of HR experience in an upscale, luxury lodging, spa or resort setting strongly preferred.
  • Guest service and office administrative experience strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in group facilitation and training preferred.
  • Complete knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to HR activities (ie: Title VII, ADA, ADEA, USERRA, EEOC, Uniform Guidelines on employee Selection Procedures, etc)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
  • Fluency (written and verbal) in English required.
  • Fluency (written and verbal) in Spanish preferred.
