The Senior Project Manager (SPM) plays a crucial role in ensuring the organization's successful delivery of projects and programs. This role involves overseeing multiple projects, coordinating resources, participating in interviews & hiring, managing budgets, project level P&Ls, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives. SPM will liaise between various stakeholders, including clients, project teams, and senior management, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. The Senior Project manager will have overall responsibility for day-to-day management and will be the primary point of contact with the client. Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and closure of projects and programs, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards across fixed price, fixed capacity, and time & material projects. Should have managed a larger ODC or have been part of an ODC managing key projects Coordinate with project teams to allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal project performance. Thorough understanding of product engineering, leading the program from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer stakeholders, and the DBiz technical resources. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and executive leadership, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues that arise. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful delivery. Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources to meet project objectives within budget constraints. Establish and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and organizational standards. Implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and minimize resistance during project implementation. Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements within project management practices, driving continuous improvement initiatives. Prepare regular project status reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, achievements, and challenges. Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment focused on achieving project objectives. Pursue organic and profitable revenue by obtaining new businesses via deepening relationships with existing clients Lead as an ambassador of DBiz by influencing actions and decisions that positively impact revenue, delivery, compliance, and client satisfaction. Achieve business goals through effective management of internal and external teams, either directly or through the DBiz communities to resolve complex challenges. Play a key role in the strategic development of the client and assume overall responsibility for the management of Change Request between the DBiz and client. Participate in presales activities and ensure that the response to the proposals is completed in a timely manner in collaboration with the DBiz pre-sales team Requirements Project Management Certification (PMP), Scrum, SAFe certifications preferred or equivalent experience Substantial experience managing projects or programs in one or more of the following sectors; Real Estate & Construction, Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail A proven track record of effectively managing clients with revenue of over $10 million (USD) Substantial experience selling and managing relationships at the C-suite level Experience in retaining existing client revenue and growing new revenue Experience in attrition management Ability to work through complex challenges while consistently adhering to SLA and KPI requirements Experience managing through a matrix organization Able to demonstrate organizational, multi-tasking, negotiation, client relationship, and interpersonal skills Play a key role in the strategic development of the client and assume overall responsibility for the management of Change Request between the DBiz and client Able to demonstrate advanced skills in MS Office products (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word) Excellent communication skills
