Our client is one of the country's leading suppliers and manufacturers of solvent and water based products.Location:
This role is located in Alfreton.Your main duties will involve:
- Development of new products to customer requirements, to include making lab scale blends and testing product performance and stability, and recording all results clearly.
- Preparing lab samples for customer approval.
- Improvement of current products by re-formulation.
- Testing of alternative raw materials in current products.
- Competitor product analysis.
- QA of raw materials arriving on-site.
- Assisting with QA of finished products, to include testing properties such as pH, viscosity, foam and colour, recording results, assisting with re-works when required, and maintaining retained sample storage.
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:
- Experience in development of blended chemical products.
- Experienced with performing quality checks.
- 3-5 years of industrial lab experience.
