- Lead on and/or coordinate provision of expert technical advice on development and other casework/information requested. Includes complex high-profile proposals.
- Provide expert marine advice to the development and implementation of project statements.
- Quality assures, interpret, and advise on external and internal reports/assessments.
- Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships and engagement, including liaison and partnership.
- Influence and contribute to the development and delivery plans and strategies.
- Provide expert technical and operational advice to the development of corporate standards/ process and guidance.
- Mentor and coach other members of the team and colleagues as required.
- Contribute to the development and subsequent implementation of casework guidance.
- Contribute technical advice into enforcement cases, both internal and external.
- Local and international travel may be required.
- MRPT certification or RSO clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in international relations, law enforcement, public policy, or related field; or (15) years or related professional experience.
- FSI level 3/3 Spanish, FSI level 3/3 English.
- Fifteen (15) years’ experience in the field of the specialty, which must include:
o Three (3) years of specialized supervisory experience depending on the position (e.g. intelligence, firearms, gangs, kidnapping, drugs, internal affairs).
- Experience briefing in Spanish and English.
