We are growing fast and have many opportunities for advancement.This position will be responsible for the operation of the extruder for pet food production and sanitation of work areas to ensure it is ready for production.Job Duties:

day-to-day operation of the plant
Work with the Meat Room and Mill to ensure product meets specifications
Setup of the Extruder daily
Inspection of product to make sure it is meeting customer specifications, density, and size
Follow instructions of Extruder operator
set up of die plates and knives on extruder
troubleshoot equipment to ensure product is within specifications
Clean under and around conveyors, extruder, and other plant machinery
Clean and setup pumps
Calibration of pumps

Job Requirements:

Able to lift 50 lbs.
Able to obtain Fork/Truck license
Follow GMP’s and safety protocols
Great trouble-shooting skills
Computer literate
Team effort and communication
Willing and able to stand for long periods of time
Attention to detail and desire to clean is a must
Mechanically inclined

Hours:

Monday - Friday

1st Shift

2pm - 10:30pm

2nd Shift

10pm - 6:30am
