- Develop plans for the design and implementation of solid waste systems in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Analyze the impact of new and existing solid waste systems on the environment and local communities.
- Perform detailed calculations to determine the amount of solid waste that needs to be handled.
- Monitor the construction of solid waste systems and coordinate with contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Provide technical advice and support to other departments such as waste management, operations, and engineering.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to solid waste management.
- Ensure that all engineering projects are completed in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations.
- Generate detailed reports on the progress of engineering projects and provide recommendations for their improvement.
- Conduct regular inspections of solid waste systems to ensure their safe and efficient operation.
- Maintain accurate records of all solid waste systems.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- EIT certification.
- Experience with AutoCAD, BIM, and other civil engineering tools.
- Knowledge of waste water management and water management.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to solid waste management.
