- Define product requirements, specifications, and user stories, ensuring clear communication and alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Prioritize and plan backlog items and sprints, considering various priorities and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Work closely with the engineering, design, support, and quality assurance teams to deliver high-quality, user-friendly software solutions.
- Work closely with the tech lead to prioritize tasks and identify optimal technical solutions for product development.
- Conduct interviews, usability testing, surveys, and data analysis to identify user needs and address challenges effectively.
- Develop and execute a product roadmap aligned with market trends.
- Monitor and analyze product performance, effect of releases, and user feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and product optimization.
- Stay up to date with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management.
- Help make sure our products are accessible and our technology can be used by everyone.
- Master’s or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent amount of experience or training in industry (at least 5 years of relevant experience).
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in operational Product Management roles in the software industry (background as an instructional designer or similar can substitute for this).
- Background in product management methodologies, including market research, product roadmapping, and agile development processes.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex software products and managing delivery schedules effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong business acumen and a customer-centric mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, communicate product vision and strategy internally and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Industry experience (Edtech) or experience as an instructional designer is a plus
- Clear and concise English communication skills. All internal communication is in English and 99 % of H5P Group's customers speak English. You must write and speak English almost fluently (Norwegian is not a requirement).
- Must be located or willing to permanently relocate to work from our offices in Tromsoe, Bergen or Oslo (Norway).
- For “the right candidate” we can consider making this role fully remote in Europe after being onboarded from Norway, some traveling activities will then be a part of the role.
