As a Senior Legal Manager (Davao Based), you will play a pivotal role in directing all aspects of our client's Legal Services. You will ensure that all transactions are conducted within the bounds of applicable laws, providing necessary legal interventions when required. Your responsibilities will also include handling various types of litigation, from land issues to labour cases. You will be instrumental in planning and implementing legal interventions and programs, as well as providing valuable legal advice to higher management. Furthermore, you will manage the contract management system for agreement approval and represent the company with local government agencies/bodies according to applicable law and business strategy.
- Direct overall aspects of legal services with appropriate legal interventions
- Ensure all transactions are within the bounds of any law applicable to the company business
- Handle company legal services including but not limited to land issues, labour cases and different types of litigation
- Provide direction in the planning and implementation of legal interventions and programmes
- Offer legal advice in the implementation of a proactive labour relations programme geared towards continuously improving personnel administration and systems
- Handle the contract management system for agreement approval
- Represent the company with local government agencies/bodies according to applicable law and business strategy
The ideal candidate for this Senior Legal Manager (Davao Based) position is a Bachelor of Laws graduate with at least 5 - 10 years' experience in labour relations, land acquisition, corporate management, litigation, tax laws. You should have an equal amount of experience in disputes settlement and inter-corporate transactions. Your strong knowledge of local, US Law and company policies (applicable law) will be crucial in this role. Experience in handling company legal services including but not limited to land issues, labour cases and different types of litigation is a must. Furthermore, you should have a proven ability to provide direction in the planning and implementation of legal interventions and programmes.
- Bachelor of Laws graduate
- At least 5 - 10 years' experience in labour relations, land acquisition, corporate management, litigation, tax laws
- At least 5 - 10 years' experience in disputes settlement and inter-corporate transactions
- Strong knowledge of local, US Law and company policies (applicable law)
