- Exceed sales target for your territory
- Develop a Territory Sales Plan that focuses on revenue growth and share gains
- Understand customer organizations by department, function, strategies, funding sources and key programs
- Profile and develop relationships with key executives (Managers, Directors, VP’s,) within your focus account / territory
- Work with a cross functional sales and the Application Engineering team across the country to drive our share gain strategy for customers such as Northrup Grumman, Raytheon, L3Harris, BAE, and others.
- Master the basic features and benefits of our primary products, including Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, along with our lines of Keithley and Elektro-Automatik DC products.
- Identify and sell into new and existing applications for Tektronix, Keithley and Elektro-Automatik products
- Effectively utilize sales resources including applications engineers, channel partners & business development support
- Demonstrated track record of quota attainment selling complex capital equipment utilizing a defined sales process
- Demonstrated success of developing growth plans for large complex accounts.
- Demonstrated success prospecting for and closing new business
- Highly motivated and success driven and a natural leader.
- Ambition to take on expanded leadership responsibilities with success and growth in this role.
- History of mentoring, coaching, and developing others
- Strong knowledge of selling into high-speed analog/digital design applications, RF, Radar, EW and Threat simulation
- Fully developed tactical sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, closing, and growing existing customers)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent time and territory management habits
- Experience with personal computer, e-mail, and Microsoft Office programs
- Experience with CRM (MS Dynamics, Salesforce, or similar)
- BSEE or equivalent; M.B.A. strongly desired
- Minimum 5 years of selling experience
- Ability to travel 50% of the time within territory
The salary range for this sales position (inclusive of sales incentives/commissions in local currency) is 131600 - 244400
