Description :The Quality Engineer III plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality assurance of engineering designs, suppliers, manufacturing processes, materials, and products.ResponsibilitiesThis position is primarily responsible to:
  • Gathers, analyzes and interprets process, product and financial data to improve product quality and increase effectiveness and efficiency of processes using statistical process control.
  • Oversee resolution of customer complaints and corrective actions.
  • Prepare and update quality documentation ensuring compliance with internal and industry standards.
  • Provides guidance and training in best practices to Quality personnel.
  • Assists with nonconforming product in-house, at customer location and in the field. Prepares written documentation, represents Hunting Quality at meetings and manages actions.
  • Performs supplier evaluations and certifications. Performs quality capability assessments to assure that procurement requirements can be realized.
  • Defines and leads projects to improve quality processes using Lean principles.
  • Conducts in-house and supplier audits, issues audit reports, and follows up to assure that corrective actions are completed and are effective.
  • Applies advanced Quality Assurance methodologies to assess and improve company processes and systems.
  • Develops and deploys training to improve the technical skills of the Quality team and the company.
  • Conducts root cause analyses and implements corrective/preventive actions.
  • Develops inspection and test plans to assure the quality of products and components.
  • Prepares and delivers reports and presentations communicating results of quality assurance activities to team members and management.
Has experience with API Q1/ISO 9001-2015, knowledge of industry quality assurance codes and standards.Required Skills and Experience:
  • Required: Minimum of 7 years directly related work experience.
  • Preferred: Internal auditor certification, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
  • Background with inspection of oilfield components
  • Intermediate to advanced skill with Excel or Power BI
