Triad Engineering, Inc. is seeking an exceptional candidate for an internship opportunity within the Geotechnical Department of our Morgantown, WV office.The preferred candidates will possess:

Working in direct support of the Practice Leader, this temporary, entry-level position is designed to expose the student to a broad range of science and engineering practices and skills, providing a well-rounded learning experience.DUTIESResponsibilities Include:
  • Assist Staff, Project and Senior personnel with diverse tasks as assigned
  • Apply standard techniques, procedures and criteria to complete routine engineering assignments
  • May rotate throughout Triad's various disciplines as needed to support workload and/or enhance learning
  • Responsibilities may include assisting in field, laboratory and/or office work
  • Complete and submit all required documentation and reports in a legible and timely manner
  • Notify supervisor immediately of problems and/or deviations from assignments, plans and/or specifications
  • May interact with clients and will be expected to do so in a professional and customer-friendly manner
  • Strive to make each project profitable by completing each task efficiently and timely
QUALIFICATIONSEducation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related engineering or geology discipline
Experience
  • No formal experience is required
  • Exposure to engineer-related activities is highly preferred
  • Involvement in related professional organizations preferred
Additional Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must be available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environments
This position may require long term standing and repetitive motions. Must have the ability to use your hands to handle, finger or feel; reach, climb or balance; crouch, stoop, crawl, kneel and sit.
