The facility includes engineering, manufacturing, assembly, R&D/testing lab, management, sales & marketing, administration and service.Job DescriptionSUMMARY: The CNC Machinist has a wide range of responsibilities, including and not limited to cost effective machine set-up procedures and proper tool selection, shares programming responsibilities and directly reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor. This is a climate-controlled shop.Essential Functions
  • Program/edit, set-up and run Mazak or similar, machines to specified tolerances
  • Mazatrol Programming
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Assists in designing, developing, cataloging, and maintaining tooling and fixtures used in the manufacturing process.
  • Develop and maintain part programs as necessary.
*This is a 2nd Shift (3:30 pm- 12:00 am) primarily operating Mazak CNC lathesQualificationsBASIC REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have a minimum of 5+ years machine shop experience
  • Must have at least 5+ years of experience with CNC programming including experience using Mastercam, with ability to program/ edit, set-up and run machinery to specified tolerances
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand tooling requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong understanding of machine shop operations, machine set-up procedures and a working knowledge of different materials and tooling available
  • Capable of developing fixtures and tooling for specific uses in machine set-up
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and part-programming software
