- Work within the engineering department facilitating the introduction of new items of process and utility equipment in line with best practice.
- Work as part of a team through completion of COHA and HAZOP for all engineering aspects of process preparation and safety.
- Work within a team to perform phase appropriate validation and the installation of new equipment on plant & pilot plant.
- Carry out engineering feasibility studies of existing systems as deemed appropriate by manager.
- Work with the development chemistry teams in the development of processes that are suitable and robust to transfer to pilot plant/kilo lab through COHA assessment and provide on-going project support.
- Identify root cause of any engineering and chemical engineering problems and identify and implement viable solutions.
- Prepare P&IDs for existing and new process equipment and adhere to document control in line with current SOP.
- Perform development and management of process control documentation in line with current SOP and best practice.
- Honour's Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering (NFQ, 240 credits) required.
- Minimum of two years' experience required in a similar role in a highly regulated environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated of experience of managing projects from beginning to end.
