- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in project management and designing high-quality site projects in a professional setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD (LandF/X software a plus); Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office (familiarity with Bluebeam a plus).
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing 3D graphic presentations using SketchUp, Lumion and similar software resources.
- Project management experience including developing scope, schedule, and budgets, and being responsible for those components through the life of a project.
- Wisconsin or Minnesota Landscape Architecture license.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Ability to work effectively in both an independent as well as a collaborative team environment, including in remote and hybrid settings.
- Ability to secure and manage work from new and existing clients to help grow our landscape architecture group.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of landscape architecture, master planning, urban design, and community engagement, as well as knowledge of park and recreation design.
- Produce creative design solutions with a passion for improving the ecology for communities, commercial projects, parks, greenways, and complete streets projects.
- Prepare and execute creative community engagement strategies. Lead user group and community workshops.
- Confidence in professional capabilities, and ability to work with limited direction.
- Research, evaluate and propose materials, colors, textures, patterns and products for hardscape, recreation, and site furnishings plans.
- Learn about, coordinate, and prepare construction details and construction document plan sets.
- Participate in site analyses and concept development.
- Construction administration, observation & reporting.
- Assist in client interviews and marketing efforts.
