- 7 years of audiovisual experience - preferably in an educational, conference center, and/or hotel environment
- Ability to multitask, often working under stress to complete tasks that require complex set-up and operation
- Professional understanding of the following AV technologies: Digital switchers, digital audiovisual systems and computer interfaces, video capturing software, Zoom and other video conferencing systems, digital video and audio editing software, light boards, cloud storage such as Google Apps and Box
- General proficiency with Mac and PC
- Understanding of networked audiovisual systems
- Proficiency in Google productivity tools, including Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Drive
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office365 productivity tools, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in room control systems, including Crestron and Extron systems
- Ability to maintain an excellent level of customer service with faculty, staff, students, and guests
- Availability to accept flexible hours and overtime
- Daily requirements to move items up to 10 pounds of weight
- Requirement to lift up to 75 pounds of weight and work from ladders and scaffolding
- Frequent requirement to move up to 50lbs of weight and to walk or stand with operation of controls
- Occasional requirement to move items up to 100 pounds of weight
