Join us.The RoleThe Field Service Technician is responsible for the delivery, installation, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of pressure control equipment on customer location. The Field Service Technician is a skilled, experienced technician with the ability to perform most tasks independently, while seeking guidance or training for more critical tasks.Pay Starts at $20.00. Can Be Adjusted with Experience. Overtime is Available.Company Service Trucks will be assigned to employees based on qualifications and business needs.Job Duties/Responsibilitiesmay include, but are not limited to:At SPM Oil & Gas, our primary objective is to provide our customers with excellent engineering solutions through our products and superior customer serviceAlways demonstrate the core values of SPM Oil and GasFollow all written policies and procedures safely without deviation or refer to upper management for guidanceAlways advocate exemplary safety cultureDemonstrate consistency, accountability, reliability, and solid work ethicAlways exhibit a high degree of integrityPrepare JSAs (Job Safety Analysis) and POWRAs (Point of Work Risk Assessment) on the job site and perform all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with SPM Oil and Gas EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) policiesAdhere to and exercise Stop Work Authority and Management of ChangeSafely install, remove, repair and service equipment on a drilling rig or well siteProvide superior customer service to all internal and external customersProvides technical expertise and direction to rig crews and well site supervisors, as well as third party providers when neededMaintain SPM Oil and Gas company supplied assets and any other equipment, including site specific equipment, as it relates to company policyPrepare accurate field service and sales orders in an organized, legible manner, in addition to any other documentation necessaryPromote and represent SPM Oil and Gas in field service and salesAlways maintain a professional appearance and work attitudePre-check all equipment and processes prior to starting the job to ensure all equipment is operable and completeMust have the ability to perform independently or in a team settingMust be available on 24-hour call to respond to customer needsCommunicate effectively, both verbally and writtenPerforms other duties as assignedThis position will require the ability to drive a company issued vehicle.Basic Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceMust be at least 21 years of age.Have a clean driving record, which generally means: No more than (2) moving violations within the last 12 months and No more than three (3) moving violations in the past three (3) years. ​​
