Excel Recruitment is currently hiring a Checkout Supervisor to join and lead an enthusiastic team with our client, an award-winning Grocery Retailer located in Dublin West.Salary: €30k – €35kAs Checkout Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, providing a fast and consistent experience, and ensuring the area is operating at the highest level.Key Responsibilities for Checkout Supervisor:

Oversee the checkout staff ensuring correct procedures are used
Monitor accurate cash management and resolve any discrepancies
Manage and maintain the checkout staff rota, training, and development
Coordinate with other department managers to ensure smooth operation and flow of the area for customers
Resolve any customer complaints/ feedback
Review/ monitor inventory in the checkout area

Requirements for Checkout Supervisor:

Previous cash-handling experience in a fast-paced high-volume area
Effective communication and leadership skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Experience using and troubleshooting Point-of-sale systems
