Pet Care AssistantAbraham's Equine ClinicJob DescriptionGeneral Description:This position may be a great fit for you if you like being physically active and are confident being around horses.This weekend position at Abraham's Equine Clinic is responsible for feeding and watering horses, cleaning stalls, assisting the on-call veterinarian with treatments, and keeping the barns and grounds in optimal condition. Members of our weekend team enjoy being around horses, have experience handling horses and boast that they get their workout done at the barn!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:· Feed and water horses as specified.· Clean individual horse stalls.· Load hay into wagons for distribution.· Load/unload manure.· Hold horses for the on-call veterinarian· Adminsiter treatments under the guidance of the on-call veterinarian.· Other duties as assigned.Position Requirements:· Must have experience working with horses.
