  • Client’s People eXperience (PX) Department elevates the function of Human Resources into results and strategies for employee engagement and effective leadership and operates in the model of PX Centers of Excellence (COE) teams.
  • This function resides in the PX COE People Operations.
  • It supports the people operation systems, processes, and policies related to an employee life-cycle, including employee pre/onboarding, issuing employment letters, personal and employment data changes in Workday, legal compliance, employment verification, and offboarding. This role is the first point of contact for employees for PX-related inquiries through our PX Help Desk and local office.
  • The individual in this role must lead with a customer-centric perspective, collaborate with the global Client PX team, and communicate proactively with PX colleagues in multiple businesses and countries.
  • This position is based in Chennai, supporting all Client divisions and regions globally, reporting to the People Operations Manager - APAC.
Essential Job Functions:
Primary Responsibilities
  • Global AskPX Help Desk Support
  • Assist employees globally by answering questions and timely provide support
  • Interact with employees via the query management tool, telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on PX-related service/process
  • Collaborate and engage with COEs and PX Business Partners to deliver an outstanding employee experience
  • Support multiple countries by facilitating training on the service desk application to internal stakeholders globally
  • Regularly maintain, update, and generate reports on key metrics and operational dashboards based on agreed timelines in coordination with the COEs
Regional and Global People Operations
  • Ensure day-to-day operational tasks are executed in an accurate and timely manner aligned with standards
  • Maintain personnel records of employees in the HRIS system (Workday) and the physical copy as required by the local laws
  • Responsible for PX centralized people services activities which include updating the HRIS and ensuring real-time update of all employee records, maintain employee master data, and auditing all mandatory policy acknowledgements by the employees
  • Drive operational excellence within the Global People Services function by maintaining living and breathing standard operating procedures
  • Ensure all service standards are met as per the agreed Service Level Agreements
  • Payroll and Benefits: Update Workday with all new hire compensation information to ensure accurate and timely input for monthly payrolls. End-to-end processing of time off submissions and leave policy administration for India.
  • Report out monthly metrics and related dashboard
India Onboarding and Orientations
  • Oversee and facilitate the onboarding and induction of new joinees
  • Ensure best-in-class onboarding experience for all new joinees
  • Collaborate and engage with COEs, hiring managers and the PX Business partners to deliver outstanding employee experience
  • Track mandatory training completions by all new hires as defined; ensure new hire connect sessions with the site leadership team are organized and new hire surveys are rolled out as per the timelines
  • Strive to support and provide for a superior employee experience
Qualifications:
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or human resources or related field
  • AND 2+ years of relevant work experience in human resources with HRIS platform experience
  • OR an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Work experience in a matrixed, decentralized organizational structure in a global company with a large employee base in multiple sites, countries, or regions
  • Dynamic verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven analytical and interpersonal abilities with attention to detail
  • Excellent judgment, accountability, and problem-solving skills
  • Harness the value of empathy and compassion with a customer-relations mindset that shapes your leadership style, Client’s workplace culture, and helps others
  • Admirable time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Workday (HRIS) and any case management system experience
  • Experience working with Google Workspace
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in other HR functions and internal partners across the organization
