- Provide on-site supervision of installation projects and work closely with Raymond West Project Manager to provide accurate and timely installation.
- Manage 3rd party installer or other 3rd party labor services on customer site.
- Capable of briefing effective daily safety topics and daily plans/goals to installation technicians.
- May provide some mechanical/electrical and controls assembly to assist installers if needed.
- Complete installation projects while preventing or minimizing cost overruns.
- Verify site dimensions, obstructions, power feeds, and other items needed for a successful installation.
- Maintain project installation schedules and convey the goals to the sub-contractor.
- Identify and present potential cost-saving practices with the Raymond West Project Manager for future solutions.
- Maintain systematic reporting and accountability records including job site safety, daily reporting, end-of-project reporting, per checklist standards.
- May be required to provide permit submittals and supports the permit inspections.
- Communicate effectively to keep the Project Manager informed of progress and any issues that develop, so the PM can communicate to the customer in a timely manner.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of time: weekends, nights, and holidays may be impacted.
- Must be first on site; last to depart.

- Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with employees, Co-workers, and Managers, regardless of department.
- Must be willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate and willing to assume more responsibility as required.

- Ability to execute to project deadlines and ensure work is precise according to proposals (supplied by the Raymond West Project Manager).
- Demonstrated competence in concepts, designs, installations, and acceptance of conveyor systems according to applicable codes.
- Ability to be strategic and show mindfulness on operational costs, and equipment needed to complete a project.
- Able to assists in training when project requires the use of power equipment and hand tools.
- Ability to adapt to unexpected changes and schedule next-steps as necessary to meet deadlines. Maintain poise and comportment despite frustrating schedule complications.

- Preferred but not required: College degree from a four-year school or 5 years of experience in MHE or technical and mechanical experience in the field.
- Up to 80% (3 – 28 consecutive days on-site at a time)
- Must be able to be insured by Raymond West.
- Position is non-Sedentary; requires extensive traveling.
- Substantial air-travel or driving distances to supervise or visit customer site locations.
- May require the ability to walk, stand, reach with hands and arms, sit stoop climb, push, pull, and heavy lifting.
- Repetitive use of fingers to feel and manipulate equipment and communication devices.
- May use wrists and hands for typing, manipulating laptop, iPhone, iPad or tablet.
- The employee frequently is required to talk and to hear.
- Occasionally may require the ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 lbs.

- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and persistent.
- Non-Project Weekdays (Monday - Friday), 8 am to 5 pm; however, this varies as required.
- During project deployment, working hours depend on the customer operational availability as determined by the customer’s site-management. The expectation is often 6 days per week, 10 hours per day.
- The salary range for this position is $67,600 - $75,000. The specific pay offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location.
