- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 3 years of technical experience is required. Additional experience ay be substituted for education.
- Requires an active and fully adjudicated TS/SCI security clearance, and the ability maintain a TS/SCI security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must obtain the ISTQB CTFL certification within 6 months of hire.
- Must obtain the ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level-Test Analyst (CTAL-TA) certification within 2 years of hire.
- Advanced experience with Windows (Power Shell) and Linux (Kali and Ubuntu) command line interface.
- Intermediate ability to interface effectively with customers, end-users, technical leads, and program management throughout the full software development lifecycle.
- Intermediate experience designing, writing, reviewing, and executing test plans, procedures, reports, and technical documentation.
- Excellent self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Intermediate ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and innovations.
- Intermediate experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of the Agile mindset and methodologies, including Agile project management.
- Knowledgeable on various Software Development Lifecycles.
- Advanced experience working in Windows, Linux (Kali and Ubuntu), and VMware environments.
- Intermediate experience with Agile/Scrum Framework and Issue Management Tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Intermediate knowledge in Web technologies, Mobile technologies, Embedded systems, Communication protocols, or Data science.
- Working knowledge of OSI model, TCP/IP networking, architecture, and core technologies (e.g. Network traffic collection and analysis, enterprise network architecture, routers, mail and web servers, Intrusion Detection & Prevention Systems, firewalls, anti-virus tools, network traffic generation).
- Basic knowledge of systems engineering concepts, user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) applications.
- Support test managers in the development of test plans, reports and customer communications following established test methodologies and procedures.
- Prepare Developmental Test & Evaluation (DT&E) test cases, and perform functional testing at the system, interoperability, and integration test levels on various systems and networks under the direction of a Senior Test Engineer.
- Participate in all phases of software and hardware development to include requirements development, risk assessments, and evaluation criteria refinement.
- Coordinate with customers, test engineers and range engineers to ensure the test infrastructure meet desired test objectives and data collection requirements.
- Actively participate throughout the acquisition process in order to influence development of a testable capability or product.
- Compile and analyze test results data to determine conformity of the product or capability to the requirements.
- Document change requests/deficiencies of the product or capability as a result of test data analysis.
