Check us out at , and we hope you will consider applying to build your career and your future at MXS!JOB SUMMARY:Responsible for providing shop support in the areas of equipment testing and troubleshooting. After a ramp-up period, expected to act as a point of contact with customers to resolve testing issues and coordinate with production teams. Provides field service support to resolve customer or product issues. Provide production support with development and improvement of product drawings and Bills of Materials.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Power up buildings with AC and DC systems
  • Test building systems per designated test procedures
  • Troubleshoot CAT6 connections
  • Terminate CAT6 ends
  • Troubleshoot power and signal conductors
  • Work with computer software to read data from equipment
  • Work in conjunction with Production and QC to develop test plans and procedures
  • Responsible for safely providing utility power to buildings in production for testing
  • Oversees testing performed by QC inspectors of electrical equipment.
  • Provide production support for all MXS products to resolve issues with installation, drawings and Bills of Materials
  • Provides feedback to designers and CAD Technicians to improve drawing content to facilitate production installation
  • Able to provide on-site commissioning of MXS integrated equipment (skids, buildings, etc)
  • Available to provide on-site field service support of MXS products under warranty
QUALIFICATIONS:Work Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 – 2 years working in a testing and manufacturing environment
Education:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering; Mechanical and/or Electrical preferred
Related Experience:
  • Familiarity with NEC and electrical codes
  • Trained on working with high voltage electrical equipment including Arc Flash
WORK ENVIRONMENT:While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights.
