- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide psychiatric medication management and therapy to patients, collaborating closely with other members of the treatment team.
- Lead and participate in interdisciplinary case conferences to review treatment plans and monitor progress.
- Supervise and mentor medical residents, fellows, and other clinical staff as appropriate.
- Engage in clinical research activities, including study design, data analysis, and publication of findings in peer-reviewed journals.
- Stay abreast of advances in psychiatric research, pharmacotherapy, and psychotherapy, integrating new knowledge into clinical practice.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry.
- PhD in a relevant field such as Neuroscience, Clinical Psychology, or Psychiatry.
- Active state medical license and DEA registration, with eligibility for licensure in the state of [Location].
- Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and treating psychiatric disorders across the lifespan.
- Strong research background with a track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
