Job Title: Psychiatrist with PhDPosition Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Psychiatrist with a PhD to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions, as well as a strong research background that complements our commitment to evidence-based practices and innovation in mental health care.Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide psychiatric medication management and therapy to patients, collaborating closely with other members of the treatment team.
  • Lead and participate in interdisciplinary case conferences to review treatment plans and monitor progress.
  • Supervise and mentor medical residents, fellows, and other clinical staff as appropriate.
  • Engage in clinical research activities, including study design, data analysis, and publication of findings in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Stay abreast of advances in psychiatric research, pharmacotherapy, and psychotherapy, integrating new knowledge into clinical practice.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry.
  • PhD in a relevant field such as Neuroscience, Clinical Psychology, or Psychiatry.
  • Active state medical license and DEA registration, with eligibility for licensure in the state of [Location].
  • Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and treating psychiatric disorders across the lifespan.
  • Strong research background with a track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and engage with patients and their families.
