We seek a Director of The Learning Center (TLC) to begin on July 1 who will work on both campuses in all divisions (Preschool, Lower School, Middle School, and High School) and report to the Associate Head of School for Teaching and Learning. This year-round position will oversee all the learning support services, including reading and writing remediation, content tutoring, speech and occupational therapy, and executive function support. This position also manages TLC student enrollment, support recommendations, and financial aid; oversees TLC staffing, including full-time learning support staff, part-time tutors, and on-site speech and OT contractors; collaborates with the administration to ensure appropriate services are being offered and that support is integrated with classroom work; serves as an advisor to the admissions committee for students with learning differences and/or psycho-educational evaluations; creates and updates all student accommodation plans. We seek candidates who are passionate, energetic, and outgoing; possess outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; enjoy working collaboratively; and have an interest in developing and practicing cultural competence. At a minimum, an M.A. (or higher) in education, special education, or psychology, 10 years of experience in education and/or psychology, and 5 years of experience in an administrative role are required.
