- Develop a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables, in collaboration with stakeholders and project team members. Manage the project scope, goals, and objectives, considering the customer’s requirements and priorities.
- Identify and engage key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, such as leaders, IT teams, and end-users. Foster effective communication and collaboration to ensure alignment and manage expectations.
- Assess resource requirements, including staffing needs, and allocate resources appropriately. Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure adequate support for project activities and milestones.
- Oversee the execution of Workday implementation projects, ensuring adherence to the established project plan. Monitor progress, identify potential risks or issues with a balanced usage of quality audits, and take corrective actions to keep the project on track.
- Responsible for ensuring project adherence to the change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions of Workday engagements.
- Generate regular project and financial reports, status updates, and metrics related to project milestones, risks, and issues. Present project updates to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
- Stay abreast of Workday enhancements, updates, and industry best practices. Identify opportunities for process improvement, system optimization, and enhanced user experience within the Workday ecosystem.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, related major, or equivalent work experience.
- Current Workday project management certification
- Minimum 5 years' experience in project management, successfully delivering Workday solutions.
- Experience working in a progressive management consulting or professional services firm.
- Strong understanding of HR and/or Fiinancial processes, systems, and data management.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, including Waterfall, Agile, and Testing methodologies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication style and interpersonal skills to collaborate and present to cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Change management expertise, including experience in driving user adoption and managing organizational change.
- Travel to client sites as needed.
