  • Conduct client interviews to gather information and understand their specific needs and goals in regards to probate and estate planning
  • Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner, keeping them informed of the progress of their case
  • Prepare clear and concise explanations of legal processes
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other real estate planning documents
  • Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with state and federal laws
  • Prepare and file necessary probate court petitions
  • Locate and inventory all estate assets, including real estate, financial accounts, and personal property
  • Value estate assets to determine applicable taxes
  • Manage creditor claims and settle debts
  • Distribute to beneficiaries according to will or intestacy laws
  • Assist the corporate law team with drafting and reviewing contracts, business formation documents, and other transaction documents
What You Need for this Position
  • 2+ years experience as a Paralegal with relevant experience in probate, estate planning, trust distribution, etc.
  • Paralegal Certification is preferred
  • Strong writing skills
  • Proficiency in drafting estate planning documents
  • Strong with Microsoft Suite
  • Corporate law experience
