- Handle complex Justice + Civic projects at various scales.
- Develop project Work Plans (schedule, budget, cartoon set) for project success.
- Be responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
- Serve as primary contact with clients to bring projects to completion on schedule, within budget, and with a focus on client trust, rapport, and satisfaction.
- Understand Business Development, and genuinely and consistently build and maintain ongoing professional relationships with the clients.
- Coordinate with the Business Development leader to attend client events, fundraisers, and other events within the city.
- Proactively and creatively manage client budgets, schedules, and programs, project communications and documentation, office administrative tasks, and project team assignments.
- Participate in regular office and regional staffing meetings.
- Estimate fees, determine scope of work, and prepare proposals and contracts.
- Assist in winning work and possess great communication and presentation skills.
- Have knowledge of programming and planning.
- 8-15+ years of experience, with at least 4 years of experience successfully leading large-scale Architecture projects
- Professional degree in Architecture
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills to participate in interviews and client presentations
- Ability to travel occasionally to support project tasks
- Technical experience in leading construction administration efforts
- Knowledge of building code and construction methods
- Planifi and/or Deltek Vantagepoint experience
- 5+ years of experience leading and working on Justice + Civic (Detention, Corrections, Courthouses, Public Safety, Municipal, Federal/State/County/City) projects
- Proficiency in the use of REVIT and CAD computer modeling and rendering software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-Up, and other design software
- LEED Accreditation
- Experience and interest in sustainable building design
