Job DescriptionAbout the Role: Fragomen, an AmLaw 100 firm and the leading immigration services provider, is seeking Office Coordinator candidates to join our Mail Processing Operations Center. The Mail Processing Operations Center, or "MPOC", is a growing part of Fragomen's organization and plays a critical role in our mission to facilitate the hiring and movement of skilled talent on a global scale.The role is full-time on-site and the MPOC department is part of our modern and accommodating Wexford, PA office. Our Wexford office is also home to our Technology and Innovation Lab.The Office Coordinator position, internally known as Mail Processing Operations Center (MPOC) Coordinator I, is responsible for providing effective and efficient mail processing service to internal clients across the US East Cost/Midwest/Southeast mail. Fragomen's MPOC Coordinators have unique opportunities to learn about the legal and immigration sectors, while earning competitive compensation and benefits.How will you make a difference as an Office Services Coordinator I at Fragomen?
  • Ensure that all mailings are accounted for and accurately updated into the system.
  • Scan, file and maintain physical files and supporting documentation.
  • Open or close records/cases; maintain any and all records as requested by supervisor.
  • General administrative duties as needed (i.e. faxing, copying, typing, etc.).
  • Meet assigned deadlines and communicate case progress/status/issues to supervisor.
  • Follow up with client for outstanding documentation.
  • Maintain client contact information.
  • Update and manage status reports. Build knowledge of Firm and client processes.
  • Learn procedural and processing requirements for various types of non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions and applications (i.e. drafting and assembling non-immigrant and immigrant petitions and applications).

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional services environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels in person, by phone and by email.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple people and various tasks simultaneously.
  • Skilled in a variety of technology tools, including Microsoft Office & Excel.
  • Ability to anticipate situations and respond quickly and professionally.
  • Very strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Extensive file and document management experience.
  • Show interest in expanding knowledge and responsibilities in casework preparation.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and initiative regarding assignments for self and team.
  • Proven experience in handling multiple deliverables efficiently.
  • Ability to provide information and respond to requests for assistance with courtesy and tact.
  • Must be a team player as well as self-motivated and committed to excellence in the workplace.
