Team and Role Overview:
The Paid Social Media Team works seamlessly in a larger team circle to strategize, execute, monitor, and optimize paid social media campaigns to meet client objectives and goals. The team focuses solely on paid social media, including platforms such as Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc. They are in sync with the Analytics Team to ensure proper tracking of digital campaigns, align on performance (and any applicable pivots to strategies), and set up testing (A/B, brand lift, etc.).We live and breathe social media and seek a paid social media buyer to work among the best and brightest in the social media marketing industry. The ideal candidate has a passion for social media marketing. This person understands the intricacies of strategically developing and executing a paid media plan. They know the pros and cons of different social paid media offerings and types of placements and enjoy finding the right targeting audiences and digging into the data. We are looking to add even more diversity to our team.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Participate in client strategic planning.
  • Building a media plan based on client objectives: identifying key audience targeting, channel placements, and budget allocation.
  • Develop and utilize performance benchmarks to project estimated results.
  • Execute paid media strategies across social channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram [aka Meta], Pinterest, TikTok), monitoring and optimizing campaigns to meet client objectives and goals.
  • Seamless use of native ad buying tools, such as Meta Business Manager and Ads Manager tools on Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, etc.
  • Generate and maintain various reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly), assessing efficiency of ad buying campaigns and overall social media strategy execution.
  • Effortlessly present paid social media findings, progress to goal, and recommendation to agency clients (but please always practice!).
  • Provide paid social media recommendations and POVs.
  • Stay current with the latest paid offerings when they are released and keep up to date with current social media measurement trends and standards.
  • Maintain paid media industry benchmarks and support team with data (e.g., eMarketer, IAB).
Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Must have 3+ years paid social media.
  • Previous experience using native ad platforms (e.g., Meta Business Manager, Twitter Ads Manager).
  • Extremely focused and organized with the ability to move at a fast pace while also having an obsessive attention to detail.
  • Very proficient in Microsoft Excel and stellar in PowerPoint and Word.
  • Superior communication skills including the ability to present data to internal and external teams eloquently.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, grammar, spelling, and communication skills.
