Terry Reilly is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW - LMSW - LCPC - LPC) to join our team! This role is .8FTE (32 hours) with the option for 1.0 FTE (40 hours) with additional hours at the Terry Reilly Trauma and Resilience Center in Caldwell. This is a year-round salaried position, with summer hours split between Middleton and Caldwell.We are partnering with Middleton School District to provide school-based therapy to their high school students. Middleton is committed to increasing counseling services for their schools and the students have played an active role in advocating for their mental health needs. This is a school district that is highly motivated to coordinate care with Terry Reilly to provide quality clinical services.We are seeking a therapist, who enjoy working independently and coordinating care with school personnel. Regardless of location, our team of therapists have the opportunity to consult frequently with other experienced colleagues throughout our agency. Terry Reilly is committed to their role as a teaching institution and provides regular in-house training and a generous continuing education package for external training.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIESDevelopment of a school-based therapy program with an emphasis on individual, group and family treatment. Provide behavioral health services and/or consultation, treatment, intervention, and prevention services to school aged children and their families in order to improve psychosocial functioning. Provide coordination of care with Terry Reilly medical and behavioral health clinic.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Successful clearance of Department of Health and Welfare criminal background check.
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field.
Current professional license in the state of Idaho (LPC, LMSW).
Two years assessment and counseling experience (may include school internship in a Master's program)
Experience formulating a DSM IV diagnosis.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working with disenfranchised populations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Valid LCSW, LCPC or equivalent in the State of Idaho.
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Three or more years' experience assessing and counseling clients.
Experience providing behavioral health services to children.
Training or certifications in trauma-informed interventions (such as EMDR or DBT).
Experience working in a medical setting, community health setting, or as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of computer and email systems, as well as EMR.
Knowledge of community resources, including those for the migrant and farm worker populations.
Familiarity with State of Idaho Health & Welfare Mental Health system.
