About this role: Wells Fargo Card and Merchant Services (CMS) Operations team supports, services our direct-to-consumer lending products which include consumer credit cards and loyalty programs. Key areas of business include servicing strategy (including contact centers), collections operation strategy and credit operations. Analytics team provides analysis, reporting and insights to help business decisions in various parts of the business which includes Root-cause analysis of complaints, reporting on servicing, increasing collections efficiency. In this role, you will: Perform analysis and create insights to help the operations business to lower operations cost. Develop business segmentation, customer profiling, benchmarking , forecasting, perform vintage analysis and create strategies to increase collections efficiency Work with business on dialer strategy for early , late stage collections and recovery Optimization and building scorecard for collections agency performance Support the business to understand spend and balance behavior, activity rate, attrition, revenue, rewards earn rate using insightful analytics Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed Assist managers and leaders in building business strategies Work independently or with minimum supervision Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables by utilizing data-driven, advanced analytical, statistical techniques, algorithms, or models to make actionable insights, trends, recommendations, or contribute to large-scale planning that has a broader impact Communicate actionable insights and recommendations using data in a digestible format to a non-technical audience of varying levels Required Qualifications: BS/BTech degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, economics, computers or physics Minimum of 5+ years hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting and modeling Strong analytical, technical and statistical skills, high conceptual problem-solving, high level of comfort in dealing with unstructured, white space problems Demonstrated experience with techniques, programming, and tools relevant to statistical modeling and analysis including a high level of proficiency with large databases/data warehouse (Oracle, Teradata) and tools such as SAS / SQL Good data interpretation , presentation skills and communication skills A true team player and collaborator, translating prior knowledge and experience into strong and productive relationships internally and externally Dedicated, enthusiastic, driven and performance-oriented and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously Desired Skills Languages: SQL, SAS BI Tools: Tableau/ Power BI/ SSRS & Excel Good knowledge of building strategic analysis using vintage analysis , customer profiling , business segmentation Basic knowledge of statistical techniques like - Regression , Clustering, CHAID, Time series Forecasting Preferred Skills Experience in working on Machine learning techniques - segmentation, regression, Decision trees, forecasting Knowledge of Python Financial services experience (Credit card knowledge is a plus) Posting End Date: 19 May 2024 We Value Diversity At Wells Fargo, we believe in diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace accordingly, we welcome applications for employment from all qualified candidates, regardless of race, color, gender, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, individuals with disabilities, pregnancy, marital status, status as a protected veteran or any other status protected by applicable law.
