JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSECoordinates Capital Equipment logistics for the system. Responsible for the successful acquisition of capital equipment, project furnishing logistics and contract preparation.DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONSHS Materials Management Departments are responsible for the supply chain needs of the enterprise. The department provides stewardship of resources and includes the leadership in the areas of purchasing, receiving, distribution and inventory control.EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in Business, Healthcare Administration or a related field required.Three (3) years experience in a materials management, finance, analytics, and/or engineering related field required. Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.Experience with reconciliation of budgets and tracking of expenses required.Experience or training with computer and purchasing system applications required.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIESCommunication: Effective written and verbal communication skills to perform group presentations, tactfully discuss issues, and listen to and understand complex information/situations. Ability to work with all levels within the organization, facilitate communication, and effectively document related activities.Community Relations: Ability to communicate to people internal and external to the organization and to represent the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources.Conflict resolution: Ability to proactively resolve conflicts in a positive and constructive manner.
