More importantly, you're partnering with a high responsive and proficient expert.The Fire Extinguisher/Suppression Technician is responsible for performing scheduled or unscheduled maintenance and inspections on fire extinguishers, suppression systems, hood systems.The best candidate will be outgoing, self-motivated, computer literate, and able to problem solve. Must have good communication skills and professional image. This is a ground floor opportunity within the company and could lead to a larger role in the future with knowledge learned of NFPA 10, 17, 17A, 96, UL300 along with factory mutual and applicable codes.Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Kitchen Hood Suppression experience a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively; both verbally and written
  • Valid driver s license; in accordance with Company policy
  • Willing to pass a drug test and background check
Responsibilities:
  • Performance of daily, weekly, monthly and/or annual & semi-annual inspections of various fire extinguishers, kitchen hood suppression systems, and emergency lighting
  • Repair, replace, recharge of various fire extinguishers & kitchen suppression systems
  • Ensure job quality and customer satisfaction is maintained in every stage of the project
  • Focus on safety and safety practices first and foremost
  • Plan, honor & adjust work schedules for efficiency and On-Call responsibilities
  • Maintain all maintenance & upkeep of company provided vehicles & equipment.
  • Complete all required, mandatory, & recommended training.
  • Complete electronic and/or hand written inspection reports Document time worked as well as all paperwork relating to assigned tasks in a timely manner
  • Assist the scheduling and completion of assigned duties
  • Ability to work independently and use provided personal protective equipment
