The office will be open 5 days a week (Melville, NY); however, you will only be required to report to the office if there is a specific business need. Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs. Also, this position works remotely from a home office near a major metropolitan city/airport and requires overnight travel to support our National Account partners.The ideal candidate will be in the Midwest, East Coast, or Central regions. They should possess a proven track record in national sales, particularly with a focus on directly engaging with major big-box retail chains such as Target, Walmart, Costco, Sam's Club, or similar establishments rather than directly engaging with individual consumers. In addition, the ideal candidate should have leadership experience in leading a national accounts team and overseeing national accounts executives as their direct reports.Overview:The Senior National Account Sales Manager (Sr Manager, Sales) will manage all imaging products within the National Accounts Sales Group and is expected to provide clear direction, support, and daily management of NA Account Executives to ensure all goals are achieved. The successful individual will collaborate with Senior Management to develop channel strategies and processes to expand Canon’s National Account business with established and new partners. There must be a clear focus on short- and long-term business initiatives to increase revenue within the sales channel. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the growth of the Company’s shelf space and market share within our dealer partners, effective marketing with our partners to amplify company initiatives, command of market dynamics and competitors, and strong leadership of the National Account Sales Team.Responsibilities:If you are a strategic sales leader with experience in National Accounts, we want to talk to you!
  • Attain monthly sales revenue and quota.
  • Work across teams/departments to maximize synergies within the organization and manage group deadlines, goals, and budgets.
  • Lead, manage, motivate, and support each team member to help them achieve their respective monthly quotas.
  • Develop and implement programs to drive sales and increase Canon's market share.
  • Develop strategies to increase sales with critical decision-makers in assigned accounts.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required, plus 9 years of related experience and management of 2 or more regular full-time employees.
  • Experience includes Sales Management and knowledge of National Accounts.
  • Sales experience in national big-box retailers (e.g., Walmart, Target, Costco, etc.) is required.
  • In-depth process knowledge to effectively and efficiently manage National Accounts
  • The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with external business partners and internal executive management.
  • Candidate must be self-motivated, capable of prioritizing and performing multiple tasks, and possess strong leadership skills to motivate and lead a sales team.
  • Leads others through change and can manage through resistance.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, changing environment.

  • This position works remotely from a home office near a major metropolitan city or airport and requires overnight travel to support our National Account partners.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% nationwide.
  • Individuals must possess a clean, valid state driver's license to obtain the position.
  • This position requires driving; therefore, a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are necessary. Additionally, because driving for company business is an essential job function, it must comply with company safety guidelines and policies.
