- Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's business objectives and growth plans for the EMEA region
- Lead all aspects of talent acquisition, including workforce planning, recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent
- Develop and implement robust performance management systems, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans to drive employee engagement and productivity
- Partner with department heads and senior leadership to identify training and development needs, and design and deliver learning programs to support employee growth and skill development
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, including employee feedback mechanisms, recognition programs, and diversity and inclusion efforts to create a positive and inclusive work environment
- Manage employee relations issues effectively, providing guidance and support to managers and employees to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work culture
- Stay abreast of HR trends, best practices, and legal requirements to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in the UK and other EMEA countries
- Establish HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, and provide insights to drive continuous improvement
- Build and lead a high-performing HR team, providing coaching, development, and mentorship to develop HR capabilities and drive results
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role
- Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company, preferably in the digital marketplace or eCommerce retail industry
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations in the UK and other EMEA countries
- Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives to support business objectives and drive organizational growth
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Certified HR professional (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CIPD) preferred
