Job Posting Estimated Close Date: 6/15/2024INTECON, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Asset Management / Property Specialist to join its team and provide critical support to the FEMA Office of National Continuity Programs (ONCP) Business Management Division (BMD) for immediate hire. The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting the Asset Management Branch (AMB) by assisting in the inventory and tracking of ONCP/BMD property, including government-furnished property (GFP) and contractor-acquired property (CAP). The selected candidate will also contribute to the development, implementation, and improvement of processes to ensure ONCP property accountability and compliance with government property management regulations.Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Sunflower Asset Management System (SAMS) Navigation Guides to track assets from acquisition to disposal accurately.
- Generate inventory reports using SAMS to assess progress during inventory periods.
- Verify the accuracy of records within assigned areas of accountability.
- Report any issues that may affect the outcome, success, or timing of the inventory.
- Monitor storage, utilization, transfer, and disposal of Personal Property in coordination with the Asset Property Officer (APO) and maintain transaction records.
- Prepare Report of Survey and relevant documentation for lost, stolen, damaged, misused, or destroyed Personal Property.
- Familiarize yourself with FEMA Fleet Management Manual 119-24-1 to ensure compliance with daily fleet management operations.
- Conduct cyclic or annual inventories to verify existence, location, and quantity of personal property, following FEMA manual and SAMS guidelines.
- Assist in reconciling discrepancies between official FEMA property system and ONCP procurement records, custody receipts, and internal spreadsheets/databases, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support AMB government property custodians in ensuring compliance with agency policies on property accountability for contractors and government employees.
- Readily available for travel with a short notice to FEMA Regional Offices, State Emergency Operations Centers, and US Territories.
- Assist with market research to determine appropriate acquisition requirements for AMB.
- Provide administrative support for AMB-related PowerPoint presentations and logistical support for distribution and disposal of FEMA-owned equipment.
- Operate FEMA vehicles (e.g., cars, trucks) as needed, following guidelines, and obtaining necessary approvals.
- Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance Required; TS/SCI Preferred.
- GED or High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree is preferred; Master's is desired.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with FEMA or other similar agency contracts and collaboration with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors.
- Administrative (organizing, scheduling, generating reports, etc.) experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a team environment.
- Capable of lifting supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness and ability to travel (Up to 25%).
