- Photograph high-quality action shots of campers participating in various sports like skateboarding, BMX, Scotter, Parkour, and more.
- Utilize a variety of camera techniques (¿anning, freezing motion, creative angles) to depict the athleticism, skill, and adrenaline-
- Collaborate with camp staff and athletes to ensure safety and access to optimal shooting locations.
- Document the broader camp experience, including interactions with coaches, behind the schenes moments, and the overall atmosphere of Woodward Camps.
- Capture candid and emotive photographs that portray the personal journeys, determination, and camaraderie of the campers.
- Utilize professional photo editing software to enhance the visual impact of the photographs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bacherlor's degree in Photography for a related field, or a minimum 3 years of proven experiences as a professional photographer.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a talent for capturing dynamic action shots and portraying compelling narratives through photography.
- Proficiency in professional camera equipment and a solid understanding of lighting principles.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environments and adapting to diverse shooting conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with camp staff and athletes.
- A passion for action sports and an appreciation for the unique stories unfolding at Woodward Camps.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines is essential.
- Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50lbs.
- Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines
- Must be comfortable working in an indoor and outdoor all-season environment.
- Camp Attendance Requirements: Summer Camp Season (June 7th- August 24th)
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- As a requirement of this position, pre-hire criminal history clearances are collected from the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH) system, child abuse clearances are obtained through the Department of Public Welfare, and federal history is taken through FBI fingerprint screening.
