- Regular and predictable attendance throughout the shift is an essential function of this position.
- Inspects/ perform tests on cable for conductor resistance, diameter, and cable construction 69Kv up to 525Kv
- Ability to enter data into data base program or appropriate forms.
- Communicate with departments about quality concern.
- Abide by all rules and procedures.
- Make safety first priority.
- Report all safety incidents or issues immediately.
- Maintain clean work area.
- Any/All tasks assigned by supervisor.
- On shop floor basic computer training including but not limited to Maximo, SAP, DCS, MDC
- Ability to read and follow SOP’s, TI’s, CDA’s, FOD, QUA’s, DOD’s industry specifications, and customer specifications as resource documents
- Fork lift Training
- Ability to use and troubleshoot electronic, measuring equipment for conductor resistance measurement
- Ability to successfully complete a Core skills training including but not limited to Basic Electrical Principles and Safety, Basic Cable Construction
- Mathematical ability to understand decimals, percentages, multiplying, addition, and subtraction
