Outpatient Therapist - Same Day

- Completes diagnostic assessments.
- Inform crime victims of their statutory rights under K.S.A. § 74-7301; 74-7333; 74-7335
- Provides outpatient behavioral health treatment appropriate to the situation, including: individual, family, group, and in-home therapy.
- Performs utilization review as requested.
- Implements medically necessary treatment services, functional capacity, and clinical determination of Level Of Care (LOC) for all clients.
- Articulates all service provisions through timely and quality record documentation.
- Provides assessment and treatment for crisis clients including emotional support to those clients and families and refer to appropriate resources.
- Completes related activities as assigned by the department head or direct supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of various theoretical treatments and practice applications.
- Knowledge and practice derived from direct service provision.
- Experience managing treatment plans and treatment teams, including directing and managing client treatment with other providers.
- Specialized treatment including EMDR, DBT, SFBT, Motivational Interviewing, CBT and other evidenced based treatments.

- Masters’ Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Three to five years of experience working with diagnosing and treating the SPMI/SMI or SED populations.
- Understand integrating care with other providers.
- Ability to supervise other clinicians for their clinical licensure (must have two years of experience after gaining clinical licensure).
- Three to five years of experience working with diverse client population including high-risk populations.
- BSRB Licensed at Masters Level Clinician.
- All necessary trainings for delivering specialized care, including all applicable trainings for being a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
- Valid Driver's License
- Clinical Level Licensure by BSRB.
- Substance Use Disorder licensure.
