SummaryPlease Note: At this time, this position is posted for internal applicants only.Position Summary This position consists of 36 hours per week.Assists in providing age-specific, pediatric through geriatric, patient centered care in accordance with respective unit-based protocols. Under the direct supervision of the RN, the CNA performs specific delegated tasks as they relate to ADLs and the promotion of outcome-based patient centered care in a variety of settings.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.License/Certifications: Graduate of an accredited CNA program. BLS within three months of hire. Certification Training in De-escalation preferred.Experience: Experience: One year of internal CNA experience preferred, with a minimum 6 months in an acute care setting required. Ability to float and work within a variety of hospital inpatient settings and the emergency department.In good standing on the Maine State CNA Registry.Demonstrates the ability to effectively interact with multiple and diverse patient populations.Demonstrates competency with multiple computer applications.
