- Perform geologic, hydrologic, and geotechnical investigations
- Develop and evaluate plans, designs and other activities related to geologic considerations
- Gather, analyze and interpret subsurface information for use in reports and other documents
- Document site activities and prepare written reports
- Conduct laboratory and field tests to assess soil type classification and subsurface mapping
- Conduct seismic risk assessments, geological hazard assessments and quality control
- Report findings and recommendations to clients and other stakeholders
- Provide project management and client meeting support
- Comply with safety rules, regulations, guidelines and standards
- Bachelor's degree in geology, engineering geology, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in geology, engineering geology, environmental geology, hydrology, or related field
- Certified Engineering Geologist licensing in the state or jurisdiction where the project(s) are located (CA preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in the use of industry standard software programs
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
