- Develop and implement a comprehensive medical equipment management program that addresses healthcare standards, regulatory agencies, and industry best practices
- Act as the SME for Biomedical Engineering at the healthcare facility by providing support for specialized clinical technology, service, system administration, training, quality assurance, and life-cycle maintenance
- Manage a recall and safety alert program for devices including hazard investigations
- Lead capital asset and infrastructure planning for medical equipment from conception to installation
- Create a curriculum on the safe and effective use of medical technology for new and existing staff
- B.S. in Engineering or Certification as a Clinical Engineer (CCE)
- Experience at a medical center as a Biomedical Engineer, OR experience working in a government agency
- Ability to perform operational verifications procedures, planned maintenance, and repair service on medical equipment
- Familiar with the setup and application of test equipment
- Per government customer: Must be a US Citizen and legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance
- Must provide proof of Covid vaccination + Flu vaccination
- $90,000 - $120,000/year, depending on years of relevant industry experience
