- Files federal and state income tax returns for 25+ real estate holding LLC’s/LP’s.
- Prepares nonresident withholding schedules and determines tax liability for members.
- Prepares quarterly income tax estimates and the related remittance vouchers.
- Researches legislative materials to identify new filing obligations and compliance exposure.
- Responds and resolves tax notices and/or information requests from tax authorities.
- Analyzes general ledger details to ensure proper classification of posted transactions.
- Maintains adequate records and workpapers supporting tax positions.
- Maintains and updates fixed assets and related reconciliations/rollforwards.
- Prepares apportionment schedules for multi-state filing entities.
