The position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania and the employee will report to the Global Compliance Project Manager based in the US.What will you be doing?Your responsibilities may change over time, but you can expect responsibilities like:
  • Support Nasdaq’s sanctions screening process on new and existing clients, review and resolve search results and use judgement to distinguish true matches and false positives
  • Maintain thorough and accurate recordkeeping of all matters, including ensuring case management tool includes appropriate supporting documentation, logging reviews on tracking spreadsheet, and saving related communications
  • Develop and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with business counterparts and global compliance partners
  • Support Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Program, identify and design program improvements
  • Participate in special projects in support of the Sanctions, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Compliance program, as requested
Who are we looking for?
  • Preferred university studies/degree in Business, Finance, Law, or International Affairs (or related discipline)
  • Several years of work experience in compliance, legal, or similar area
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Analytical skills, ability to analyze information and identify red flags
  • Familiarity with international sanctions regimes (e.g., OFAC, UN, BIS)
  • Familiarity with World Check or similar compliance screening systems is a plus!
  • General familiarity with key Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption legislation (e.g., FCPA, UK Bribery Act) and financial crime typologies
What happens now?This is a full-time permanent position located in Vilnius. Nasdaq offers a hybrid workplace to find a balance between working from home and collaborating in the office, therefore it's required to come into the office at least 2 days per week.If you think you would thrive in this role, then we would love to hear from you!
