You will be responsible for understanding, documenting, and improving all external operational processes that impact Apex Silver services and/or solutions. You will play a key role in guiding integration initiatives between Apex Silver and Apex Clearing teams as they work to enhance data quality, controls and overall business processing -- particularly as it relates to Tax, Cost Basis and Wealth solutions. The ideal candidate will be excited to solve problems and build organizational relationships while delivering cohesive solutions.Duties/Responsibilities:Provide expertise in specific investment services areas to operations, support, and product team members through training and documentationAnalyze workflows and processing bottlenecks; identify and lead process improvement initiativesInfluence stakeholders to support business projectsAssist with project management for selected projectsCoordinate with inter-departmental teams to produce better business outcomesTest business processes and recommend improvementsConvert roadmap features into smaller user storiesWrite clear and well structured business requirements/documentsIdentify automation opportunitiesCreate reports, dashboards and visualizations to understand business performanceCommunicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholdersDevelop and maintain reporting or tracking of deliverablesPerform data discovery, analysis and modelingAssist with internal training and release elevationCollaborate with product manager on roadmap planning and prioritizationQualifications:Bachelor’s degree required, Master's degree preferred10+ years experience as senior business analyst (or equivalent experience)Financial Services and brokerage back-office operations experience requiredDesire to dig into problems and collaborate with product owners and developers to solve"Roll-up your sleeves and help get the job done” attitudeTeam player & self-starterGreat analytical, critical thinking and problem solving abilitiesSuperior presentation and negotiation skillsAdaptable and capable of working in fast paced environments#APEX #product management #mid-senior #full-time #LI-MJ1Our RewardsWe offer a robust package of employee perks and benefits, including healthcare benefits (medical, dental and vision, EAP), competitive PTO, 401k match, parental leave, and HSA contribution match.
