Location: Paris, FranceCompany Overview:Our client, a leading company in the telecommunications industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Product to join their team in Paris. With a global presence and a focus on optical transport solutions, our client serves a diverse range of clients across transport, enterprise, and software development sectors. With a strong emphasis on innovation and market leadership, our client is poised for growth and expansion in the industry.Job Description:As the Vice President of Product, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the product strategy and driving market success for our client's offerings. Reporting directly to the executive team, you will lead a talented team of 12 individuals, primarily based in France, with additional team members located in Belgium and the USA. You will be responsible for defining market segments, developing product roadmaps, and overseeing the execution of product development and marketing initiatives.Please note that this role is hybrid, with the candidate expected to be in the office 2 to 3 times a week.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute the product strategy in alignment with business objectives and market trends.Define and prioritize market segments, identifying key customer needs and opportunities for growth.Lead a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, and marketers to drive product development and go-to-market strategies.Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product launches and market adoption.Drive product innovation and differentiation, leveraging industry trends and customer insights.Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track product performance and market success.Provide leadership and mentorship to the product team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.Serve as a key spokesperson for the company, representing the product vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders.Requirements:Proven experience in product management and marketing, with a track record of success in driving product growth and market leadership.Strong understanding of the telecommunications industry, particularly in optical transport solutions is very highly valued.Experience managing cross-functional teams in a global environment, with a focus on fostering collaboration and driving results.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Strategic thinker with a keen understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.Fluency in English and French required.**Please ignore the salary stated as it is negotiable.
