Effective coordination with executive management, business units, control departments and technology is critical for success.The Enterprise Risk Management team is responsible for ensuring that the firm's risks are managed systemically, such that the firm has a regular, comprehensive view of its risk profile as well as of key trends and emerging risks that could potentially affect the firm's overall risk profile. We ensure that Risk and senior leadership is consistently informed on the holistic risk profile, inclusive of financial and non-financial risks, in a way that facilitates strategic planning and risk decision making.Key Responsibilities:
  • Interact with stakeholders within Risk and across other businesses to help enhance and drive consistency across the firm's risk management processes
  • Help to drive and create presentations or other reporting for senior risk committees focused on key risks, internal/external event reviews and/or new initiatives
  • Coordinate and drive agenda setting for select risk committees at the firm as well as help with minute-taking and summarizing key points
  • Help to drive and create presentations or other reporting for senior risk committees focused on key risks, internal/external event reviews and/or new initiatives
  • Facilitate enterprise risk management framework and data collection and oversee and assess key risk processes related to controls, implementation of remediation plans, significant strategic growth initiatives, among others
  • Work closely with operational risk and control assessment frameworks
  • Develop risk and control assessment capabilities and operationalize processes to support them throughout the firm
To fulfill these objectives, Enterprise Risk Managements interfaces with a wide array of businesses and risk management groups across the firm. The cross-disciplinary nature of the projects that the team engages in makes for a rewarding and multifaceted work environment.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of work experience
  • Strong documentation, presentational and verbal/written communication skills
  • Assessment, process, and control-oriented mindset
  • Ability to present with impact and build consensus across senior stakeholder groups
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and advance multiple assignments concurrently - Project management is a plus
  • Ability to consume and synthesize large amounts of information
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word - Sharepoint is a plus
  • Familiarity with enterprise risk management best-practices and controls
